The NHS and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.
NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need medical help and advise you what to do.
Use this service if:
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Stay indoors and avoid close contact with other people. Call 111 if you need to speak to someone.
In Scotland call your GP or NHS 24 on 111 out of hours.
In Wales call 111 (if available in your area) or 0845 46 47.
In Northern Ireland call 111.

Once your goals are set, we can link you to other professional organisations, community groups and one to one services/activities to help you achieve your goals working with you for up to 12 weeks.
How to be introduced:
If you think you would benefit from this service or have any questions, please ask your GP, healthcare professional or the reception team to book you an appointment. Alternatively, you can introduce yourself to the service by calling 0113 336 7612 (Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-4.30pm).
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel please contact the surgery with details of the destination and dates of travel in order to determine what vaccinations are required. An appointment with the practice nurse will then be booked with you to be vaccinated and given advice regarding your health and safety abroad.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below
It is important to make contact with us as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - in order for you to be vaccinated in time. These vaccines may have to be ordered and there may be a charge; please ask reception for details.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.

If you are travelling to Europe a very useful booklet has been published with advice and guidance to help you get the most out of your holiday. To visit please click:- http://ec.europa.eu/publications/booklets/eu_glance/86/en.pdf (this is a large document and may take a minute or two to view)
